India dominated Australia in all departments of game for past three weeks. The fourth ODI at Bangalore gave Australia a consolation win. But Nagpur was cakewalk for India to seal 4-1 victory over Australia to take PayTm ODI series. The innings saw third successive hundred-run opening partnership between Rohit and Ajinkya Rahane which is a good sign for Indian batting lineup. Earlier spinners wrapped up Australia (242 for 9) with Axar Patel leading with 3-38, India managed to 243 for 3 with 43 balls remaining.

The T20 of tour starts from October 7 at Ranchi.
