Second round of Qatar International Endurocross kicks off this Saturday

The second round of Qatar International Endurocross will take place this Saturday 12th December at Sealine with Mohammed Jaffar, Ross Runnalls and Tomi Sarivaara leading in their respectively bike categories while the British rider Paul Holmes is leading in the Quads.
In the E1 class, the Kuwaiti KTM rider Mohammed Jaffar leads his class with 47 points and his compatriots Meshari Abou Shaibah and Moaath Al Ansari are second and third respectively in the E1 standings with 42 and 38 points.  Jaffar , who was competing in the E2 class last year and changed to E1 this season, is very confident with his start of the season and looking forward to the coming round ‘I had a great start in the championship but I have to be well prepared and strong for this season as the competition and the level is higher, I had a fierce battle with Meshari last round and for sure this coming round we will compete again for the lead’ says Jaffar.
The newcomer in this championship in the E2 class, the South African Ross Runnalls, won both races in the opening round and is leading with 50 points. The Emirati rider Mohammed Al Balooshi came second in both races and with 44 points is second in the standings. Michael Anderson also from South Africa is in third position in the E2.
Regarding the veterans class, Tomi Sarivaara from Finland and Luc Dubois from Canada are sharing the first position in the standing with 47 points.
Paul Holmes is leading in the Quads with 47 points and the Qatari rider Mohammed Abu Issa is second with 43 points. In the opening round, Holmes won the first moto as Abu Issa had some problems with his quad and finished in fourth place. In the second moto, the Qatari rider finished in first place and Holmes second. The Kuwaiti rider Fahad Al Musallam is third in the standings.
Free practice starts at 9:05 and the first race for bikes is scheduled at 10:35 and the second one at 12:25. For the Quads, the first race will be at 11:30 and the second one at 13:20. Podium ceremony will be at 14:15.
